Omg I bought a rug

Long afternoon touring the ruins if Efesus in Turkey.  This is the city of Paul in the Bible.  Great ruins!  It was a long walk down the main street. This city had 250k people and after 150 yrs they have only excavated 10% of it. After we stopped to see a state sponsored traditional rug weaving center. To make a REAL long story short I found a rug and dug into haggling. I managed to get it for 50% of the asking price.  I could have done better but the bus was leaving. Those rug merchants were just like used car salesmen so if you've ever spent 5 hrs negotiating a used car price you know what I mean. Even the Turkish guide and our regular one congratulated me on my coup. So heres the rug.  Pictures of the Greek and Roman ruins to follow.  Oh Efesus was founded by one of Alexander the Greats generals  very cool
